Lap band surgery
 

I have recently gained back a lot of weight I lost about four years ago. In the last few months I've gone from a size 16 pants to almost 22. I'm depressed and I have a lot of difficulty walking without losing my breath. I have high blood pressure and severe back pain due to all this weight I carry around all day. I'm turning 50 October 8. I want to be in better shape before then. I'm unemployed and on public aid. I have a medical card. Is there a Doctor that can help me in Aurora, Illinois?

I need to know if there are any doctors who do a lap band surgery for people on public aid in Aurora Illinois please. Is there a surgeon who does lap band surgery for people on public aid?.

Hi there, I am not in your country but as far as I know, lap band surgery is elective and therefore out of pocket in most countries, unless you meet certain strict criteria.

Can you call around and find out from your local hospitals etc that specialise in weight loss? This would give you the most relevant information that you are seeking.
