Would like to hear from peers who have SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth) or blind loop syndrome. Does anyone have flare-ups of this that involve awful smell? I get this way every six months or so. It is horrible. Just wondered what is going on and if others have dealt with this. I went to gastro doc last August and he put me on antibiotic that got rid of it for a while. I take Flagyl regularly to try to keep it at bay but it is ineffective against these bad episodes. I take a powerful refrigerated probiotic daily too.....
