alright.....i started out at 178. i am as of today 168!!!!!!!!!! thats 10 pounds... yeah!!! can't wait to post results on the summer challenge....Mtn.

Congrats to Mt.mama and southermom!!! We mothers have to stick together; right!!!!! Best of luck to all on the summer challenge!!

I know I said I wasn't going to post my results..that was before I jumped on the scale this morning. Then I thought--hey; I lost 5 pounds---that's something to be proud about, right??? So, there--5 pounds gone that hopefully I'll never have to contend with again!!! I started at 150; down to 145 and continuing to drop those pesky pounds!!!!

I have good news to report, too! I was able to make up for my 3 pound slip last weekend, plus I lost another... so altogether, I lost 11 pounds for this challenge, and my goal was 10!

Woohoo!

Yahooooooooo for me!

Those 2 pounds that I gained after the family graduation picnic last Saturday were gone this morning! I stated the May Diet yesterday in the middle of the day at lunch. I just decided that I would give it a try and saw no reason for NOT getting started on it. I'm sure thats not what did it, but after I had gained those 2 pounds I started to watch what went into my mouth all week, plus I exercised.

I didn't even have bacon this morning (sausage) but I know about the bacon supposedly working, but since bacon and sausage are from the same family, I ate the sausage and 2 boiled egges. It is fixing to be salad and warmed up hamburger (no bread) for lunch!

Lets all keep up the good work! This board has certainly made me think about what I eat and has helped me get moving in the right direction!

HI! This is Linda.
It's been about three weeks since I have been on. My hubby has been on vacation and when he is home we are always running around or something. So I wanted to be sure to get on today and tell everyone that my goal was 10 pounds and I have lost a total of 11.8 pounds! For me that was great. I am counting points with Weight Watchers. And I really haven't been able to do much excercise. As you know I have Muscular Dystrophy. I am excited about the summer challenge. I'm going to try for 20 pounds.
I did get to see Yanni ( That beautiful man) when he came Thursday evening.
Hubby goes back to work on Monday so I'll get back to writing like I was. Did you think I would forget about you guys? How could I? This is such a great bunch of people here.

Thus far, I survived today.....the children are still here..lunch, and even a cookout . . .i DID not eat BREAD. . like I said I'm going to give the Mayo Diet a try. I started yesterday at lunch.

I'm exhaustaed from playing with the 1 & 1/2 yr old and & 7 year old . . .they take UP a lot of time and energy.

Wow, you guys have done great. Unfortunately, I didn't do anywhere near as well. I did actually lose 3 lbs., but am not sure why - from what I've been eating the last couple weeks, I should have gained about 30 lbs! DD graduated and I decided to just enjoy all the festivities and parties for her and her friends and didn't worry about weight, but am ready to get back on track now!

Again, congratulations to all of you - you are an inspiration to me!
