http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/t_up.gif Way to go!
Yes, I tried on many clothes the other day that had gotten too big and I tried on others I hadn't worn in some time and can now. It's a GREAT feeling!
One thing I did a few months ago at the beginning of my diet/new life, is get rid of a lot of old lady/fat lady clothes my Mom had given me. A sad but true fact is that Mothers often, when they think they are being supportive, are hurting more than helping. My Mother, without intention, did a lot of things to reinforce old age/fat woman feelings in me. I love her dearly but I had to shake all that off, and part of that was getting rid of the moo moo looking tents she'd given me.
Now, down 33 pounds, I am having a waistline and tucking shirts INTO my slacks and skirts and feeling a lot more like I have some shape-the shape of a woman, not a beach ball. And when she got some pics of me recently, she was thrilled that I was losing weight, truly happy. So I know in buying me or making for me those old loose shapeless dresses, she never intended the efect they had on me.
You are doing great and keep up the good work. Shake off the negative or unhealthy thinking and self-image and you'll be thin for life. That's my plan anyway!
