Exclamation Question about CARROTS/LOSING WEIGHT - HELP!

Hi All,

I have posted my plan before, but here is basically what I am doing trying to get back into shape and lose a good amount of weight.

In the mornings, I do cardio for 45 minutes and I eat egg whites and some brown rice. I take 2 carnitine capsules, 2 Zantrex, and a multi-vitamin. I also drink a whey protein isolate shake.

For lunch, I eat some canned tuna - plain and have another protein shake. I usually take 2 more carnitine tabs and 1 more Zantrex (4 a day is a lot for me)

For dinner I have some grilled fish or chicken and spinach and take another vitamin.

I also do a bowflex workout in the evening and sometimes more cardio.

**Furthermore, I also drink around 1.5 gallons of water a day and I don't drink anything else (cokes, etc).

Here's my question: I am assuming someone would say I am not getting enough calories, even though I eat 3 times a day. Would adding carrots as a snack throughout the day be helpful? I know some people think they are "high" in carbs, but I think they would help - anyone else add carrots to their diet?

Any thoughts or tips are greatly appreciated.

Carrots would help..but perhaps you need something more! here's a suggestion: Keep track of what you are consuming; calories, fat, carbs, & protein. Then you will be able to see what else you can add to get more calories. It seems to me that you aren't eating enough.

I just don't see how I can't be eating enough when I eat 3 meals a day that satisfy me.
