Post Question about fruits

I'm trying to add more fiber to my diet and I've been reading up on high fiber fruits. One fruit stood out. Guava. High in fiber, high in Vitamin C, low in calories. I've never had it. What is it like and is it easy to eat? I need something simple I can eat at my desk without making a mess.

I have not eaten an actual guava, but I drink guava juice, which is very tasty... tastes kinda like pear, sweet and yummy... it is high in Vitamin C and high in iron... very good for you

ive never had it, but you may also consider apples&oranges(5g each)

Berries are coming into season . . . they're the best, IMHO.

The ease of eating guava is similar to cantalope - you need to scoop out the seeds and peel it, so you would have to prepare it in advance and bring it in a container to the office.

I would definately go with the berries! they are low in carbs as well. They are excellent antioxidents as well. My favorites are strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and blueberries. You can eat tem plain or sometimes for a low carb treat I pour a little cream (the heavy kind) on and it is very ummy! I freeze berries from my garden so I can have them all year round! You can also buy them frozen in the off season, just look for the ones frozen without sugar or syrup!
