I would definately go with the berries! they are low in carbs as well. They are excellent antioxidents as well. My favorites are strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and blueberries. You can eat tem plain or sometimes for a low carb treat I pour a little cream (the heavy kind) on and it is very ummy! I freeze berries from my garden so I can have them all year round! You can also buy them frozen in the off season, just look for the ones frozen without sugar or syrup!
