During my first two weeks of 20 carbs per day, my ketostix were coming up dark and I lost nine pounds. The third week, my ketostix are really light if not completely negative, and I haven't lost anymore weight. I've still been eating the same foods and staying at 20 carbs per day. What gives? Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated!
Sometimes it just doesn't show. Don't let it discourage you. Just because it doesn't turn does not mean that your body isn't sheding weight. And..it is amazing how our bodies can be releasing ketones in one hour and not the next. By the way, I have found that it shows up more after exercise.
