Question Drugs versus natural

I have noticed that the majority of dieters on this board seem to be using some kind of drug, whether chemical or herbal, to achieve weight loss. I see also that there are many that are not, just exercising and eating the right foods.

But I was wondering about the long term results from those of you that use drugs. I know that, at 44, over the years I had used many drugs and crash diets and soup diets etc and the weight WOULD go but then ALWAYS come back.

For the first time in my life I KNOW it won't happen that way because I am changing my thinking and habits, not just doing some extreme lifestyle change that one would never keep up as their natural lifestyle.

So my question is to the drug users, are you doing mental activities in combination with the drugs? Are you making different eating habits while using the drugs? If not, some of you who have used them on and off for years, do you find that they KEEP the weight of forever?

I am curious if the drugs out now are better than the ones I tried over the years, that would not be effective on me for the LONG haul.

I think it depends on WHY the person is using the supplement. If they are using it for a quick fix or relyingon it for weight loss, they will experiment disappointment. I personally use supplements for energy boosts and help with workout endurance. Xenadrine helped me lose about 70 lbs but i got a heart condition. I use Z3 now but for energy and appetite suppressing qualities. I eat healthy and workout 5-6 days per week with cardio and weight training... I don't use ephedra/ma huang, etc. I think people need to stop relying on pills to lose the weight.... just another form of yoyo dieting in my opinion. Good luck
