It is not healthy to lose more than 2 pounds in one week. I agree with the poster who suggested cutting down on carbs (processed foods, white flour, rice and white sugars)and cutting out sodas. If you are desperate for a soda then take seltzer and add some fresh squeezed orange juice, (or whatever juice you prefer) to it. It is delicious and does not contain all of the sugar. Working out is also helpful, but don't use weights more than 3 times (every other day) a week.
