| | Am I on the right path for weight-loss? Please advise!
Hi, I'm a 19 year-old, 5'2, 150 pound female. I would like to lose 25 to 35 pounds by late August before I go away to school. Currently I am doing cardio 3 times a week for about 30 - 40 minutes and 3 other times a week for about 60 - 90 minutes. I am lifting weights using machines at my gym 3 times a week focusing on my back, shoulders, chest and thighs. As for my diet, I try to drink about 80 ounces of water daily and I am doing Atkins' induction phase strictly. (I am, however, considering reverting to a low-calorie diet within the next few weeks.)
My question is, can I achieve my goal of losing 25 pounds by August 21st? Should I change anything, or am I on the right track? I have been doing this current regime for about 3 weeks but can't really tell if it's working or not. Please share any advice on either my diet or my workout routine. I really need to lose this weight by August and I'm very determined to do whatever it takes! Thank you.
