I guess I will jump on here! Hellloooo everyone!

Hey AP! Did you get adjusted okay? Or maybe we need to give the Dr. an "adjustment" hee!hee!

Whirl - TGIF! We know THAT one - LOL!

Thurs. was not too easy for me! I dont know what was wrong with my body, but...on top of being frustrated at my scale...just a little before lunch time, I started feeling really light headed like I was going to pass out and i had the shakes. I guess it ended up being low-sugar, although I dont know why, I had cereal for breakfast! I grabbed a kudos bar to put some sugar in me and I felt better after that. I decided to have a more normal lunch, but the rest of the day, I have felt bloated and yukky! I didnt go overboard I dont think....I hope tomorrow (today?Friday?) will be better (sorry, it is still thurs night for me!)
Let's all have a great Friday! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/dance.gif http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/dance.gif http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/dance.gif

Good morning everyone! I hope today will be very productive for us all. It is my plan to be both productive at work and also with my diet plan. I was scheduled to be off work today but when you work in a crisis-oriented environment, your plans change quite often.

Cool

Congratulations S. Mom! You have done a marvelous job. . WOW!!! WTG!!!! Even though its not your birthday I wanted to show you how excited I am for you and it calls for a celebration! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/birthday.gif

AP. . . I can't beleive you made up SOH..and I guessed it?!?! Hope you are feeling better. I read your post that you have thyroid problems.....so glad to know your not crazy . . HA! HA!

I've having some friends from lunch . .shrimp salad, cucumber&onion w/ no fat sour cream salad and a fresh fruit salad....okay...a little overboard on salads; but everything is fresh this time of year. I was very careful of what I put in each salad, lowfat mayo, etc.

BUT, I totaled these wonderful salads up using ******, they total over 500 calories...but the fruit salad they had listed used CREAM ....not in this h ouse...how about non-fat coolwhip!?!?

I hope everyone has a GREAT FRIDAY the 13th! We have a party to go to tonight and so I'll go light on lunch. I've done so good ALL week! Have not cheated once. Ooooopppsss ...yes, I take that back. I ate about 15 white cheddar cheese nips...left over from the kids being here (gotta have someone to blame it on)

HAVE A GREAT FRIDAY!! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/dance.gif

Hi everyone!

I'm not starting off today too well. I just mentioned on another thread that I'm going out for Mexican dinner tomorrow night & know I'll be eating a LOT (cuz it's SOOOO yummy!), and today I've got that "Well, if I'm gonna blow it tomorrow, I might as well blow it today too" attitude. Not good! I'm going to try really hard to eat well the rest of today so it's not a total wasted day. And I'm going to try to do an extra-long workout tonight. So hopefully the scale will be good to me tomorrow morning. I just managed to fit into these old jeans - I want to keep wearing them now!

Snoopy - hope you're feeling better today!

House - hope the crisis didn't involve you (other than helping out with whatever the problem was)!

Whirl - enjoy your party! You deserve it after such a great week!

AP - sorry you're not getting adjusted today. He needs to get over it! I went to my chiro yesterday - didn't know how badly I needed it until I realized how much better I felt afterward. I love my chiro!

Hi to everyone else, too! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Y'all seem like a fun bunch?

I have had a bad week as far as eating goes http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/t_down.gif
I have eaten out 3 times this week, I am a very bad girl! hehe...and plus it is 'that time' so I am feeling like a tub of lard anyway, But hey today is a new day...We went to eat at a seafood buffet last night and I coached my self the whole way there...I kept telling myself only the boiled/baked things...YEAH RIGHT...I ate it all and it was so yummy ...I am a very naughty girl...but like I said today is a new day...I have got to get my butt in high gear! Y'all have a great day!

I just found this board today and would love to join your weight loss challenge. I have struggled with my weight for a long time. I have been on every diet imaginable and keep gaining back. I decided I needed a lifestyle change to accomplish my goal weight. In January I started cutting down on my portions and watching what I eat. I go easy on the carbs since I am a carb junky. But the last few weeks weight loss has slowed down, now I am thinking about trying Zantrex along with what I have been doing. Here are my stats.

Female
Age 37
beg wt in Jan 222 lbs
wt now - 185
goal - 145

Hope I have the willpower to continue and to stay away from the carbs.

Good morning all!

I went over on my calorie count yesterday on ******... butttttt.....on the carbs side I did fine. I did go overboard on the Reeses Sugar Free Peanut Butter Cups. (bad news!!!!) if any of you have done that, you know what happened!!!! (good thing I live alone! LOL)

Today? Self discipline is the order of the day....and cleaning my house!

talk to you all later!
Lib.

Hello, I'm doing good. In my time away I have started reading a self help book by Dr Phil. I have learned alot so far about myself and why I am overweight.
Currently I am recovering from an inner ear disorder called Labrynthitis and so it makes me weak and keeps me from doing alot of exercising. So I have decided to work on the meal planning instead of the physical movement. Its hard to sit around, I am having a hard time with it because before September last year I lost 40 lbs. I was 280 at 5'11". I went walking everyday. Thats the only way I can lose, by moving. Some can lose just by not eating as much. Since I have been big all my life I have taken notice on what works for me.
I hope that you all are doing good. -d

Everyone

Thanks Whirl for that celebration.I plan on doing that some myself tomorrow night...

Hey AP hope your feeling better.

House Good Job stay focused.

Houdini Ummmm lets see how about you turn that McDonalds trip into a little reward for getting back into those jeans...Ummmmm may make you feel a little better..
Well since you got back into your jeans I say you have won a "Free Weekend Pass" eat, laugh, enjoy, with NO guilt.Monday will be here as planned and you can start back fresh and ready to go then...

Belle heads up and are you using a fat/carb cutter, by chance.I use them when I know I am going for a all you can eat or all I shouldnt eat dinner.Makes me not feel so guilty.

zzanni welcome aboard.I hope you find something that works for you.We are here to help and listen.

Libby I am sure you burned off those few calories you went over today..Stay Strong..

Darci I hope all goes well with your inner ear, I myself have had ear problems like yours since I was young.I had that and a busted ear drum about 3 years ago.You know what works for you it seems write it down and try to stick with it...Good Luck..

As for me I am doing fine ~AF~ showed her ugly self today, a few days early I may add and ya know I would get a call,we want the kids for a week.
So that means I can paint one of the bedrooms and clean out what I call junk and they call toys.
Well just checking in we have been out most of the day doing yard work and swimming. Now I need to get all their things packed and get them ready to go.
Check back in a bit.

Cool

Howdy doody chicken booties!

Don't ask, I'm in a silly mood...
No mom, I don't take a fat/carb cutter, have been kind of thinking about it since you said you took one. Do you take it always or just sometimes? Also do you take it with the Z3 also, in a seperate dose or all together...I am going to the grocery tonight and figured if I could get some more info I would maybe pick some up...also what brand or doage in particular should I look for?

Thanks, Y'all have a good one!
