hi my question is for eveyone out there, i'm 24, 5'0" and at 174lbs right now, and in need to loose weight ultimately for my health but also for a wedding to stand in and also to fit back into my old clothes that is stored away!! right now i'm on the jenny craig diet (only b/c it's more convenient to take to work) and exercising with the firm videos 3x per week. i haven't seen any results yet so i'm asking for some advice from the rest of you who have been doing great at loosing weight. i've heard so much about the acv diet, taking zantrex and xenedrine, and other stuff as well but just wanting to hear from some of you on your successes.
Keep up your good work and continue eating healthy and the exercising and you should soon see some weight loss! I lost 45 pounds by cutting out ALL snacks and junk food, switching to diet soda, replacing dinners with a weight watchers smart one's meal/healthy choice frozen dinners, and then for lunch and breakfast eating small things like rice cakes, etc. Also I swam for 1 hour per day and started walking and running on the treadmill. It takes a lot of self control but in the end is definitely worth it! Sadly, I have gained about 15-20 lbs. back which I am in the process of trying to lose again because of the lack of exercise I got in the winter (I lost the weight last summer)...so, I am trying to get back on track and continue to eat healthy and exercise to get rid of the 20 and maybe a few more! Good luck and you can do this!! ~SK
Agape...how long have you been on Jenny Craig. It may just take some time to show up. If you have been on a month and still nothing, wellll...you may want to talk to them at the center and find out what adjustments need to be made.
Sorry for the wait, I have not checked this board in a while. I didn't know how much I could say on the board about a particlar program but First Place is a bible based health and weight loss program. I lead a class at my church and we have had much success. I looked for over a year at various Christ centered programs but none measured up to First Place. See their web site at www.firstplace.org and please let me know if you have any other questions.
