Recognised your name on post. Maybe you could break the weight down into 10lb lots, then you are reaching a goal everytime you lose that amount of weight, that would help re-build your self esteem. Or perhaps you could 'know' that you are a 'new person' from the one that gained the weight cos you are now taking the much more positive step of trying to lose it?! Hope the injury is better.
