Question low calorie diet??

I have a question about low calorie diets. When you follow such diets do you need to just watch the calories or do you need to watch fat and carbs to? Also I am 5'5 weigh 156 and i am a mother of a 20 month old. What is a good calorie range for me to be in to lose 25 pounds? I hopw someone can help me out here.

I was exactly where you are 1.3 years ago. I was 5'5" and weighed 156. Today I weigh 123. I lost it all going low calories. I ate 1200 calories a day, every single day with NO CHEATING. I started last year in April and by September (5 months later) was down to 130. I used [url="http://www.******.com"]www.******.com[/url] to keep track of every single calorie. ****** also keeps graphs of your progress.

Good luck to you. You can do it. I'm the biggest weeny in the world and was able to lose the weight. The biggest thing it takes is determination and the realization that every day you put it off is just another day you're going to be overweight....GET MAD!!

Hi rsrser!

I have also lost weight by counting calories, and am still doing it. Like Lindarella, I allow myself 1200 per day, except I don't count on weekends. This slows my progress, but it makes the diet easier for me.

Whether you count fat, carbs, etc. is totally up to you. Personally I don't count anything but calories. Different things work for different people, so you might start off counting just calories, and if that doesn't give you good results, try watching the other things too.

And I agree that ****** is a HUGE help - give it a try! Good luck!

Thank You everyone. Linderella I read you other post. Congratulations on your weight loss. That sounds like something I could do because I'm not being forbidden againist anything.
