How often do you weigh? When I am not doing so well on my eating plan, I tend not to weigh at all because I'm too afraid to see the number. When I'm expecting results, I turn into a person obsessed with weighing myself. I will weigh always in the am and then sometimes later just out of curiosity. When I do weigh, I tend to get on and off the scale a half dozen times, each time making sure it's zeroed properly and then stepping on oh so slowly and carefully. This morning I stepped on only once. I've lost 12 pounds on the mayo "clinic" diet in 8 days, and I feel great!

Thought I'd better not get on and off again and leave well enough alone. What do you do?
