Spot reduction of fat from any particular body part is a myth. There is only general overall reduction of body fat which is achieved by:
a) clean diet, consisting of whole, nutrient dense foods
b) strength/resistance training
c) cardio training
You will notice a difference in facial features when you adopt an exercise-oriented, clean diet way of life. As an example, a friend of mine recently lost 40 pounds of body fat by adhering to a) b) and c) above and he looks "thinner" in the face (a double chin has been banished) and he looks years younger. More importantly, he is fitter, stronger, healthier and progressing towards his goal body composition.
