Unhappy

Hello everyone!
Feeling pretty down today unfrotunately. My daddy went away for a week, problems with the boyfriend, my boss cut my hours, tons of school work, and to top it all off I'm PMSing. It's a good thing I have you guys to make me smile!

My parents and I went to Outback last night, which was BAD! I had about a 1/4 of a bloomin' onion, a tiny bit of there awesome salad, a half of an 8oz. prime rib with all the fat cut off, and half of a sweet potatoe. Needless to say I went almost 300 calories over my daily amount of 1200. So I feel crappy today about it. I'm gonna go out and get CLA tonight. Any suggestions on where to get it inexpensive and what brands are the best? Thanks everyone! I hope everyone else has had a better week then I have! *sigh*

I'll be back before I leave work.

Awwwww, ya know we love you too, sweetie! You're the glue that keeps us held together here - we'd fall apart without you! Cheer up, k? I'm sorry you're feeling down - hope it was just some sort of misunderstanding, and hope it wasn't me that made you feel that way!

Love ya, girl! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/heart.gif http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/heart.gif http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/heart.gif

Snowkitten, I'm sorry you're having a tough time right now. Don't worry about last night - it's done and over with, and you'll do better now that you got that out of your system for a little while, right? Sounds like you've already got enough on your mind without worrying about last night's dinner. Concentrate on taking care of yourself right now, and your other problems will eventually clear themselves up - you can get thru this! Smile, it's Friday! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/heart.gif

Hey Snow & Whirl!

CLA is Conjugated Linoleic Acid
I bought Tonalin-1000 CLA at Wal-Mart. It was Nature's Bounty brand, 60 softgels for $12.88. Made from Safflower oil, which is what most seemed to say is what to look for (not Sunflower). This bottle should last 20 days (3/day), long enough to see if it works for you.

Well, let's see... hmmmmm... fall is my absolute favorite time of year to go out on hubby's bike for a few hours, and it's supposed to be a beautiful weekend... but since the stupid clutch cable broke, that won't be happening!

Guess we'll probably just work on pre-winter stuff - cleaning out the barn to make room for storing the bike & the yard stuff (mowers, lawn sweeper, etc), checking the insulation in our crawl space, maybe wrapping a few trees so the deer don't eat them up. Boy, sounds like an exciting weekend ahead! I can hardly contain myself!

Hope everyone else has a fun weekend planned - I know DP does!

Thumbs up

Thanks Flingwing for the info! I'm gonna go get me some tonight. Hopefully, it'll help me get off this plateau that I've been stuck at since January!!!

Yellow Rose - I'm going about 40 minutes upstate camping. My parents and I have had an RV at a nice campground since I was born basically so we've made alot of friends up there. Unfortunatley it's supposed to rain this weekend. So we'll see how it goes. Atleast its Friday..that makes me feel a little better!

AP - I'm sorry hun, I just got caught up and saw what you wrote! You are and NEVER will be 2nd rate on this board! Like others have mentioned, you are the glue that holds us together. Your a great person, and without you and the people you've brought together I would never look at weightloss in such an easy way. With all the support that YOU'VE brought together, you've made it alot easier for us to get over that "Fat dinner" or missed exercise. Your the reason we are challenging ourselves and giving ourselves goals!!! We LOVE you girl!!!

welllll let's see... tonight is soccer practice..tomorrow is the first soccer game then tomorrow afternoon some people are throwing a surprise wedding shower for a couple that is getting married in a week or two...sunday - we may go out to victor***** which is about a 1-1/2 hr drive to go see the dance recital of my DH's 14yo niece...and i plan on trying to do all this without cheating i certainly dont want to..but i am afraid that i will be put in a situation where i wont have a choice (like it is meal time and nothing but bad stuff everywhere!!) but that is the good thing about calorie watching...there is really nothing off limits..you just cant eat as much..i will try to take starch blocker with me too!!
