Dr. Phil said something that I think will work for me. I start eating at night around 10:00-10:30. After that the impulse goes away. He said to keep track of when you impulse eat and do something else such as take a bath during that time. By the time you get done doing a different activity the impulse should subside. I know that will save me a couple of future gained pounds.

I liked that also. my times are from 12noon to 3:30and then from eight to ten. He is supposed to have more on his show Monday.
