Smile day four!

first off, I DO hope that I am not driving everyone crazy by posting a daily note about how this is going- I just think that if I am writing about it every day, then it will help keep me on track (does that sound silly??)
Anyhow it's day4 and I am feeling much better- usually when I get sick it lasts a long time not just a couple of days. Do you think its because of changing what I eat?
I also think I have lost another lb because I just got on the scale AFTER eating and I am 160, which is what I was at yesterday BEFORE eating anything in the morning! I can't wait 'til tomorrow morning to wiegh in first thing. I know some of you are going to say I shouldn't be weighing in every day, but I need to see numbers for me to keep on track right now.
Thanks again for all the terrific support (noone in my family except for my MIL even knows I am doing this yet... my daughter asked why I was suddenly eating bacon, which I never have... I just said I have developed a taste for it!
so the support in here is really important.) I guess I don't want to say anything until the weight loss is noticable to the eye not just the scale.

First of all, it's great that you post, if it helps you stay on track with the diet.

The first few days, what you are going through are sugar withdrawals and it is seriously like cleaning your body from a drug...head aches, ya get grumpy & your body tries to find ways to make you eat sugar. I'm glad you stuck through it, the two first weeks are the WORST on the Atkins, & once you are through them, it's all good from then on.

Congratulations on getting past the worst cravings...

Also, it's a good idea not telling anybody if you want to surprise them with your weightloss, but if it's driving you insane not to talk to anybody about it, then I think it's better to spill it :-) (Of course you have this board to spill it on .... hehe

Keep on going strong, you're doing good.
