Just wanted to send a quick note to everyone who is in the storms way... Hope you will all be ok and not suffer any serious losses. I can't even begin to imagine what it's like to be preparing for a storm of that magnitude (we don't get weather like that here!) Anyhow, just wanted to let you all know that you were being thought of!

yeah Cleo, I know! But we are finally downgraded and thats a great thing... My heart just really goes out to all the B.C.ers who lost SO much in the fires. It really was bizarre the way the fires seemed to almost jump over some homes and then carry on razing everything in the path....I couldn't believe the numbers of mini-fires beside the highway here from morons chucking cigarettes out the car window... We were just lucky (we live at the bottom of a heavily wooded mountain) that nothing lit our mountain on fire.

My thoughts are with everyone as well, my family was badly affected by the forest fires in Mclure and Barriere. My hubbys whole family lives there. Brother in law lost his job to the fire and now may lose his home to bankruptcy. There is no work up there and the mill is what employed pretty much the whole town.
Hope everyone is all right,
