Salad Dressing Help
Hi!
In my efforts to eat healthier and lose a little weight in the process, I could use some advice when it comes to salad dressings ... I was at Wendy's yesterday and got a caesar salad ( I asked for a pack of the regular Caesar dressing and a pack of the Light Ranch dressing to compare.)
Here's my dilemna ... I have learned the hard way to be weary of fat free or low fat items because of what they add to take away fat or calories.
The Light dressing had 50 less calories, 8 less fat grams (1 less saturated fat), 5 mg less of cholesterol BUT it is higher in sodium and has 6 carbs as opposed to the regular dressing's 1 carb.
My question is, when it comes to weight management, should I opt for the Light Dressing or the Regular??? I hate the carbs vs. calories debate!
(I know no dressing is best but that isn't happening and at least this way I'm not eating fries!)
Advice anyone???
