Oh, and try not to skip meals.

I know this can be difficult, but your body needs those calories to burn. I try to take something with me in the car in the morning, even if it's a piece of fruit, or a bagel, or a cereal bar... and I try to eat lunch and dinner.
Although it may not be easy to have great, sensible meals each time you sit down, something is better than nothing. You don't want to starve your body.
