Post Zantrex 30 day Plan ( Day1-7)

Dear All,

I am here to post my Zantrex experience to see if this works. I was inspired by people who took it and had good results. Today is my second day. This morning I saw miracle. I lost 6 pounds in one day. I can't believe my eyes so I weighed in on different machines to make sure what I saw was right. In my tons of weight-loss tries, losing 6 pounds in one day has never happened to me. Do I feel happy? To be honest, I am kind of scared and I believe those might just be water. I will finish this week at first and see how Zantrex work on me.

Zantrex day 1: 10/13/03
Weigh in 8:00 am: 215.5 LB
Took one pill before breakfast at 8:15am, took second pill before lunch at 12:15 pm
drink 72 oz water a day. Ate: B: sugar-free soymilk 2 cups, one breakfast bar
L: self-made seafood soup w/ veggies w/ half bowl of borwn rice. D: self-made broiled tomato and veggies.
Workout at night for 1 hour, hot bath after that.
Supplements: Vit B plus, Vit C, CLA 1000 mg three times a day.
Feelings: increased heartbeat. Very minor headache and jitters. Go bathroom more often. Little bit weak.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Zantrex day 2 10/14/03
Morning weigh in: see 6 pounds lighter than 24 hours and got hell shocked
Dosage: same as yesterday.
Meals/water intake : All the same as of yesterday
Workout: no workout today, will have hot bath ( 40 mins) tonight.
Feelings: same as what I felt yesterday but much more dizzy. I contantly felt like sea-sick or just got out of some thrilled rides.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Afterthoughts:
I just got off from Atkins that I had been doing for more than 5 weeks because I suffered from serious constipation and possible gall stones. My doctor suggested me stop my Atkins. I decided to stop mostly because it only made me 5 pounds lighter after 5 weeks, which was not good enough for me who needs to take off 60 pounds.

I will take Zantrex for one month with one pill before breakfast and one before lunch along with light diet and exercise program on every-other-day basis. I do feel some side-effect but comparing to Xenadrine I took one year ago, these are still bearable.

Inside of me was very sad about my weight.. My peak weight was 245, have been overweight all my life. I really don't want to be like this. I have tried so many things but still got stuck on 200 Lb more or less. I never tend to be very thin or killer-sexy, I just want to be normal. Don't know if it is too much to ask for a 150~160 weight on my 5'8'' frame?! I didn't try too much diet pills, only couple kinds. Last one was Xenadrine one year ago, yes, it worked, but that also made me hell sick after one month. I hope Zantrex won't let me down. At least, give me some boost up when I will behave well, eat right and exercise right.

Updates:
10/15 day 3: Morning weight in: 209.5
one pill before breakfast and one before lunch. plus vitamins and CLA 1000 mg three tims a day. Hurt my knees so stop workout this week.

Feelings: pretty much not any bad feelings as previous days, guess my body starts to adjust about Z3. But seems Z3 doesn't curb my appetite at all. My appetite remains the same ( I always have good appetite especially around meal times.) Also still have craving about sweets, I decide to go for some Atkins low-carb candies since I want to keep my carbs intake moderate
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
10/16/03 Day 4: morning weigh in : 207.5
B: soymilk , one breakfast bar, couple rice cookies ( low carb low fat)
L: seafood soup with brown rice
D: salad
Feelings: light headache. Still could feel little dizzy right after taking the pills, but after 30 mins, dizziness would be gone.

Sunday goal: 205.
Oct 31 goal: 198 or less.

Jenny: I'm wondering if you are eating enough. It doesn't seem like you are consuming many calories. Are you keeping track? The reason I ask is that you may lose weight in the beginning by cutting way back but eventually (and probably soon) it will stop because your body will go into starvation mode. I weigh approx 147 and I know that I need atleast 1200 calories; I'm guessing that you need more than that--especially if exercising. I'm not saying that it's not the Zantrex that is causing you to lose weight; I just don't want you to experience "false hope". I think your dizziness may be from not eating enough also! Hope this helps.

From one Jen to another...

Jen

hi Jen,
Thanks for response. Truly appreciated your words and you have been always so supportive to everyone .( I have been reading lots of your posts )
As for calories intake, I try to maintain under 1500 cal per day. So bascially I divide them into 400 for breakfast, 500 for lunch, 300 for dinner and 200 or none for snacks. I thought eating 1500 is already a lot for me as of now. But maybe you are right, I might need to eat more. But I just have a big phobia of eating more would make me fat.

Yes, I did try super low calories diet before: I did 800 cal a day for one month and end up in hospital ( that was dumb since I was only a teenager) Then in the past I tried 1000 cal on and off as well. You are right, that was making me in starvation mode and I gained those all back later. That is why I set 1500 cal per day this time.. As you can see, I try to eat light and healthy. So mainly I consume brown rice w/ seafood soup ( made with lots seafood and veggie).

To be honest, after trying everything-you-name-it-I-tired-it-already, I really have no idea what to do now. But I just don't want to give up and I keep on telling myself at least I am not 245 lb now. *sigh* but still have 50~60 to shed...

Thanks from Jenny to another Jen..
