I have been doing a high protein, low carb diet for the past 3 weeks now. I went from 152 to 142. This past week I began limiting my calories to about 1200, and began incorporating some healthy carbs (such as an apple) once a day. However, once I did that my weight went up to 145. Is that normal?
I am also assuming that I have been working out this past week consistently, so could the extra gain be due to muscle, especially so soon?
One more question: though I limited my calories down to 1200, I usually find myself around 600-800 cal at the end of the day (well at 6 pm cause I don't eat after 6). I spend the day eating meals/snacks till I am comfortably full, and at night I am not hungry either. I usually eat something so my cal count won't be low enough for me to go into starvation mode, yet I am not hungry. Should I eat something, or listen to my body?
Thanks for any advice

I am not on a diet. I am not trying to lose wieght. I am just eating healthy, exercising and enjoying life as best as a college student can. If I end up smaller, well, that is just an added bonus.
