weight gain/ side affect from meds - Weight Loss Message Board

I have recently gained 20 pound because of the medicine that I take, and was wondering about what is the safest diet pill there is out there to take? I would like to try Trim Spa, but is it safe? I am pretty healthy other than an fast heartbeat sometimes. Does this affect your heart. Can you tell that you have taken anything? I am really eager to lose this weight! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. And no, I dont exercise, just dont have the time or motivation. Thanks so much

Saw your post on the other board-yes!I gained 30 lbs..im horrified..Started an excersise program-but nothing yet-my belly is huge..never had a problem w/ weight in the past..and now it is out-of hand!
I guess its the meds..that inspire the binge on cereal/ice cream/sweets..ill discuss this more in detail on the other thread if you like(answer the other questions) but tell me-whats happening w/ you..
I can't seem to drop the weight..even tho i am doing better w/ my eating..

Unfortunately, it's entirely possible that the weight gain from meds may not be something that can be overcome, no matter what measures are taken, at least not until you're off the meds.

I don't much like the concept of mixing pills.

Hey Heather, I couldnt help but smile when I saw your post. I think this is really a problem with everyone on this medication. What to do is the question. Ill tell ya I am really stressing over this weight gain. I have even considered tapering but scared of the out come, if you know what I mean. It looks like I am not alone after all. I just thought since no one else had brought it up, that I was the only one gaining weight on this medication. We can speak more on the other board and try to help each other out. I am willing to try any thing. I hope you are doing much better. Hang in there girl!
