| Was on Slim Fast Low Carb diet and felt extremely exhausted!!
hi,
with my first attempt to lose weight, i used the regular slim fast products and i lost weight and virtually felt great. i lost 30 pounds and had gained back about 8. so, i decided to try the low carb way, considering how popular it is. as a result, i thought it was a faster more effective way to lose weight. well, i lost 5 pounds in one week and kept going to try to lose the remaining three. i started feeling real weak and tired and blamed it on the heat (summer is just beginning in pgh). now, i replace the morning "low carb" meal bar with cereal and feel much more energy. has this happened to anyone else. i'm thinking this just may be my imagination. i workout one hour a day most days of the week, so just watching me type this is making my common sense kick in like DUH! that's why you were feeling that way. i'm interested in finding out if anyone experienced a similar situation.
thanks! oh, and i also would snack on fat free pretzles through out the day, about a serving and a half, and ate 3 servings of fruit, 2 veggies, and hardly any bread.
