Coconut Oil..again - Weight Loss Message Board

Hi all. OK, so there are several posts on this in different boards, read them all! But 1 question isnt answered. I bought coconut oil which is extra virgin. they said it was the same as virgin. when i opened it up, it was white, not a clear liquid. Ive only taken it twice, but dont want to drink/eat this if its not good for me. It has the same amount of calories/fat etc. and its got all the requirements that some doctor reccomended on some Womans article. Now, when i melt it to put in my my shakes, it does get clearish. any help will be appreciated! thanks much.

Why are you taking Coconut Oil exactly???? It is VERY high in fat! I use it to pop popcorn in but I know it's not good for me. I don't have it every night or anything. It makes really good popcorn! But it sounds like you're drinking it or something. Did someone actually tell you that would be good for you???

I'm no expert, but I've also heard that coconut oil is insanely bad for you. They used to use it at the movie theatres but have stopped. Of course, that's why it's so delicious. lol.

i only took it 2 days. i was told it was VERY good for me by a nutritionist. But unlike you guys, i couldnt stand the taste. So, im not taking it anymore. thanks for the replies!
