Workout Videos

Can anyone reccomend a good video that has some cadio mixed in with weight training? Nothing too aerobic though because I ordered THE FIRM videos they came with the double stepper and weights but some of the moves they did sent me reeling into my coffee table OUCH---I need a choreogragher to teach me the moves---too complicated. I am from Toronto so if anyone knows a good video I could get at Walmart or something---please let me know.
I watched an infomercial on Beach Body and those videos looked promising....anybody tried them?

Re: Workout Videos

I would recommend Walk Away the Pounds! They are great! They have some with resistance bands that definately give you a work out. And the first 3 basic walk away the pounds you can use weights with them! I love them. They are a really great workout.

Your not being PATIENT enough! Are you a beginner? If you are, then many videos are going to seem complicated to you. If you go on the collage website, the Firm videos are labled "easy" for the choreography. So, you'll learn it, just be patient because I own a lot of videos and the Firm has given me the best results. Be patient, you'll get it cause it will be worth it. Which videos did you get? I never heard of weights being included with the firm.

Re: Workout Videos

The videos I have came with the one purple and one blue stepper. It also came with the stick that has the weights that can screw off at the ends. Although I do not doubt that it is a great system---I have a tiny house and very low ceilings I am 6ft tall and my head will hit the ceiling stepping up on the steppers.
I found at walmart today by Crunch Fitness in New york A BURN & FIRM PILATES video that uses light hand weights. I haven't done it yet but I watched it and it looks fantastic and no crazy dancing.
It is 49 mins long so if I do it 3-4 times a week is that good enough? I also have an elliptical so I will do that on the days I don't do the video.

Re: Workout Videos

You should also try the Windsor Pilates videos. They are modified to help you reach your potential to do full moves. There is no difficult material to learn.
