Question How long does it take for stomach to shrink?

Hey peoples....
I was wondering how long it takes for your stomach to shrink after you start cutting down calories semi-drastically. How long after you start changing your diet do you not feel drastically deprived and hungry constantly? I was just wondering because I know the stomach expands when a person eats a lot consistently. Does the stomach shrink with diet or does it stay the same size?

Thanks for your help, I appriciate you guys.

The key to dieting and losing weight is you should never feel hungry and deprived if you do then you are not eating enough of the right foods and you will never stick with it long enough to see results. Also usually the stomach, but area is the last to go, but everything will gradually start to shrink. You have to give any new program 4-6 weeks to start seeing any visible results.

Re: How long does it take for stomach to shrink?

I'm not sure how long it was before i was adjusted and not hungry all the time. But it was about a month after i started my diet when i would eat and if i would eat to much i would get sick because my stomach was smaller. I'm still having problems with over eating and i've been on a diet for 3 months now. I'm not use to listening to my body when its trying to tell me i've had enough.

The stomach starts shrinking within a few days after you start eating less and the hunger cravings should lessen.

The stomach actually doesn't physically shrink. It expands and contracts throughout the day to accomodate your consumption of food and drink.
