| Pls help! I can't get started!
Hi everyone-
For the past month or so, I have been trying to get myself on a weight loss program so to speak, and it seems like everytime I get into the swing of things, I get stuck and end up back at square one. For example, I started working out 3-5 times a week, and then got my period which is terribly painful and I have to take prescription pain meds for it and ended up not being able to get to the gym because of it. Then, work got crazy and by the time I got home, the gym was closed, now I am ready to start again, and woke up this morning with a terrible head cold that has left me sleeping on the couch all day long. I guess I just feel really discouraged at this point like I can't get started.
I currently am 5'6 and roughly 135 lbs, and I am only looking to lose about ten to fifteen pounds. I also started using the birth control patch which I think may have added only a few pounds on me because my jeans are fitting a little tighter.
I know it doesn't seem like I have alot to loose, and you probably will wonder my I'm complaining about this, but it really would help me be more comfortable with myself and I don't know how to get this whole thing started without failing again. I'm really starting to get down on myself for this. Any suggestions about working out, and eating healthy?? It would be most appreciated.
