Singing the 'ole Chafing Blues . . .
So okay, I've finally taken the plunge and gotten determined to lose weight. I have been dieting thru portion control (eating 1/2 what I used to and only eating the healthy stuff) for the last 3 weeks with pretty good succes (10lbs) and want to keep this up. I've been walking 2-3 miles every other day as a start to exercise -- I'm veerrrry overweight (100+ lbs) so need to start a bit slow. This has been working fine also EXCEPT . . .
You guessed it -- the chafing!! Everytime I return from a walk, I have serious 'burn' between my legs, just below the crotch. I also get it under the bra line. It's so bad I have to walk around bow-legged for the next day. No change in clothes seems to help -- tight, loose, different fabric types have no effect. And I'm in an area where satin bicycle shorts DON'T come in size 28plus.
Do I just have to cowboy up, suffer thru and wait for the flap to start to disappear?? Seems like that will be a long time to 'work thru the pain.'
Any advice would be GRATEFULLY appreciated!!
