Re: epsom salt for weightloss?
A principle function of salt is to regulate osmotic pressure and the movement of fluids to form from cells.
while salt is perhaps the only food item other than water that is universally consumed, its intake varies considerably with many diffrent factors.
soduim chloride makes up 28% of the body by weight, its essential to muscle movement and it produces iron for digestion.
without salt your body would not function properly, but to much salt ..it would not function properly...when you sweat its proper to replace the salt in your body due to deprivation.
but to consume salt for weight loss or maintain weight...I don't think thats a very good idea? maybe a good thought or wishful thinking...but
let salt do what it was intended for...your bodys chemistry.
