Hi there! When you are young and have any weight concerns, you really should consult with a physician as it's not wise to decide, without a full assessment, how much you should be eating! Your body is still growing and need plenty of nutrients.
If the doctor says you are fine, but you still feel you want to lose a little weight, ask him/her to give you a guideline towards gentle weightloss, like how much exercise you should be doing and what calorie range to aim for.
And finally, don't put too much pressure on your self, ok? Just take it slowly and surely! I lost about 70 pounds myself so been there, done that ...
