| I love food, so here's my plan
Background info: I'm 26 year old female. 5'8" and now weigh about (i hate even typing it) 165lbs. Just over two years ago I lost 30 lbs and was down to 136lbs (about right for my height - i cant imagine weighing any less than this). After losing the 30lbs, it all crept back on when i slipped from my plan. Here is how I lost it and what I've started again:
Very simple - I look at overall calories consumed in a day. I love food (especially chicken nuggets, kraft dinner, pasta, fries, fast food, etc.) I will never be a salad girl. So when I decided I needed to lose weight, cutting out those foods was not an option (I would only last so long then go back). So instead, I eat WHATEVER i want, but aim for 1500 calories per day. So for lunch I may have chinese food or McDonalds or chicken fingers and fries or whatever, and if that meal is 1000 calories, I have very little later in the day (a big meal like that fills me up anyway, so im deifnitely not starving, just stopping myself from having two big meals in a day). By doing this, and adding in some walking and other physical activities throughout the day, I'm hoping to lose the 30 lbs again.
Wondering what people think of this? It just seems so common sense I'm not sure why everyone doesnt do it? I call it the "just dont eat so much" plan!
