How detremental to a diet is bread?

It is the "staff of life."

Bread is food and food has calories. Keep them UNDER a certain amount and you will lose weight; go OVER that magic number and you will gain.

Make it a good tasty bread though...anything that stays "fresh" for a week is just empty tasteless calories.

Nothing like a fresh baked loaf of crusty bread.

it depend on how you define detrimental? is it white or whole grain?

when it comes strictly to Weight loss a slice of bread is about 80-100 calories. you can treat it as anything else that is 80-100 calories.

But....generally Whole grain is more nutrious and will fill you up better then white.
Weight Loss can be Quick! But Fat Loss takes Time!

We are OverFat...Not OverWeight!
