| Re: ultrametabolism
Just finished reading "Ultrametabolism." Very informative and offers hope to those of us who are literally sick and tired of the American diet. Government, the food industry and the drug companies are perpetuating bad health by infusing everything we eat with high fructose corn syrup. The only way to reverse the alarming trend of increasing obesity, diabetes, and chronic digestive problems in this country is to get off the drugs and get back to basics. We need to eat the way our bodies were originally designed to -- especially lots of fiber. Most digestive disorders are due to lack of fiber. Also, Omega 3's are so important. This book condones the use of supplements in addition to weaning ourselves off the "poisons" in processed food. And guess what -- good food actually tastes good! We are so used to having sugar and sodium in everything we eat, we can't even taste the real stuff anymore. This book is so inspiring, it made this lifelong junk food addict a health freak! READ THE BOOK, EVERYONE. And enjoy how good you will feel.
