What I'm Doing Wrong???

I have been doing 20 sit ups everynight before I go to sleep to lose stomach fat for 2 or 3 weeks & I haven't noticed my stomach loseing some fat I haven't noticed anything.
What I'm Doing Wrong???
What Should I Do???

Sit ups don't do jack for losing fat in the tummy area. What it does is strengthen the muscles, which if you still have the fat infront of them you won't notice it getting toned anyway. You can't spot reduce (believe me, I wish we could, I only need tummy fat gone lol). Cardio burns the most fat, so you are better off walking/jogging/running everyday.

Cardio and generlized weight resistance training to build muscle through the entire body will cause fat loss evenly through the body. As Em stated, there is no such thing as localized fat loss. Situps are great for strengthening your abnominal wall but that's about it. There this preconcieved notion that a lots of situps = flatter abs which is completly bogus. For many that try, they actually look bigger becasue they actually begin to build up muscle tissue behind the fat therfore pushing out the extrabdominal fat making the person look even bigger than they were. Pretty discouraging.

Remember it takes time but a consistent exersise program and a good diet and you'll start to see a flatter stomach in time. But ab workouts on thier own won't cut it.
