Sit ups don't do jack for losing fat in the tummy area. What it does is strengthen the muscles, which if you still have the fat infront of them you won't notice it getting toned anyway. You can't spot reduce (believe me, I wish we could, I only need tummy fat gone lol). Cardio burns the most fat, so you are better off walking/jogging/running everyday.
