chcololate fuge whey protein powder?

I KNOW THIS IS A SILLY QUESTION AND FLAT OUT DUMB?
does anyone know what whey is used for? I know its a protein powder.

I had a friend to give me a case of chololate fuge whey powder, 20 g protein , fat -free...Lactose- free, says it mixes instantly, but what do you mix it in? I put about 2 tbs in my oatmeal one morning but it sure stinks?
Do you mix it with milk?/ or just anytrhing? and how much?
will it help curb your aptite? thats more or less what I need to know?

There was a poster on here a while back ''6'3 (6 foot three I think?) posting about whey protein powder?
anyway I have a case of it.
I just need to figure out how to use it wisely because that stuff is expensive.
I APPRECIATE ANY RESPONSE/OR COMMENT.
Thanks.
Chevyman.

I can only handle it mixed with vanilla yogurt...that kills the chalky texture.

Chevy,

Whey protein (like an ounce) mixed with 12 ounces of skim milk and a couple Tbsp cocoa, vanilla, guar or xanthan gum for thickening, a packet of no-cal sweetner and 5 ice cubes into a blender makes a GREAT thick shake...for even more filling blend in a whole egg.

It is a filling high protein, low fat meal...about 300 calories...a delicious 22 ounce shake.

That sounds good... I'll have to try that one...

Another good mix is 6 oz fat free milk, ice, and a tsp or two of natural peanut butter (if you like chocolate and peanut butter together). Or, you could add 6oz fat free milk, ice, and a few ounces of coffee and packet of splenda. Sometimes, when I want a little treat, I'll take a moca Starbucks frappicino and put it in the mixer with a little ice and a scoop of whey protein. Of course, you are adding more sugar and calories, but it doesn't hurt every once in a great while.

Chevy...Its used mainly for bodybuilders as its easily digested so it hits the blood stream faster than meat proteins. Most take it right after a heavy workout but i take mine before and after. Secondary to muscle growth its good for the intestinal lining (glutamine)and also raises the master antioxidant in the body glutathione (cysteine)

I love the chocolate chip mint flavor (optimun nutrition's) and mix it in oatmeal or fiber cereals. You can mix it with about anything if you want to raise the protein levels of the food your eating....

And if your really brave you can mix it with an ''micky d'' shake.
