What is your height and weight? Often a reduction in weight and muscle building goes a long way towards shrinking those boobs.
Sometimes though, only a surgeon can do the trick.

Re: Man Boobs!

Lenin's right on the mark. Paraphrasing from a plastic surgery reference site: Gynecomastia is a medical term that comes from the Greek for "women-like breasts." This condition is actually quite common. Gynecomastia affects an estimated 40 to 60 percent of men.

It's suggested that if you are overweight you work to reduce the size via diet and exercise, but if that does not work, a plastic surgeon can perform the procedure to reduce the breast size. Hope this helps.

Re: Man Boobs!

Unfortunately for us men, we tend to carry all of our weight from the waist up. Which, for some of us, creates those 'man boobs'. The advice given so far is right on target. Even if you do lose a lot of weight, more than likely, you will still have those 'boobs'. The only way to totally rid of them is through surgery. I read once male breast reduction costs somewhere around $3000. It's very expensive but, if you have the money, would be well worth it.

Re: Man Boobs!

You might have more luck doing cardio rather than pushups. Building your pectoral muscles will just accentuate the man boobs because you not getting rid of the fat. Adding a little cardio to your routine will help lower your overall body fat. Less fat, less man boobs. Even if you have amazing pecks, you won't be able to see them if there is a layer of fat on top of them.

At 6'3" and 170 pounds, especially with a muscular upper body, I am going to conclude that only a surgeon can be of much help. You aren't fat but actually quite lean so that gynecomastia is definitely a genetic/hormonal thing and further weight loss or muscle building won't do a thing for you.

How noticeable is is?

That $3 Grand estimate sounds about right.
