| I'm on a mission to lose weight.
Hey everyone, I'm new to this board, so here goes...
Over the last 2 years or so, I've put on a lot of weight. I injured my ankle and I've had ongoing issues with it ever since. As a result, I can't really exercise much without it causing me a lot of pain. I found myself staying in the house a lot, I got bored, and I'd eat sometimes just for the hell of it.
No exercise + binge eating = tubby Maria! Lol
I've had enough of feeling miserable and ugly, so I'm going to do something about it. I want to lose three stones (42lbs) But I'm going to break that target down into 3 stages, so I'm aiming to lose a stone at a time, which I'm hoping will make it easier.
My real weakness is chocolate, I can just never get enough of it. I've always had a sweet tooth but it seems to have increased with age, lol. I don't like fad diets, I'm not going to cut chocolate out entirely, because anything is fine in moderation. I'm just going to limit myself to a couple of chocolate biscuits a week or something. I'm drinking plenty of water and I already get quite a lot of fruit and veg, so I'm okay on that front...
Oh man, there's a chocolate and rasberry muffin in the kitchen that has my name on it, and it's killing me to have to leave it, lol.
Anyway, other than feeling a little down about my appearence, I'm still a very healthy person. I guess I just wanted to write about my efforts, I think it will help me to do so, even if nobody bothers to read it, lol.
Well, I'm going to go for a walk!
