If your body is smaller, you are happy with your size and shape, what does the actual number matter?I used to weigh myself ALL THE TIME and became almost obsessed/controlled by that number. Then I cut back to weighing myself once a month to see the progress as I lost weight. Now, I've lost about 20lbs (I'm 5'8 and around 148). Weight wise, I could still stand to lose more, but I go more by inches and how I look and feel. I just think sometimes people become too dependent on the actual number - like you said, if anything it is just muscle gain.
