I was looking for some quick and healthy breakfast suggestions for someone trying to lose weight. I have to be at work relatively early (8AM) and was trying to find some suggested breakfast items that are quick and easy to make plus are nutritious and will help me with getting my metabolism going. Any help will be appreciated.
How about making a batch of hard-boiled eggs to have handy in the fridge? Or keep a stash of Zone bars around. 210 calories, lots of protein. The peanut butter & chocolate ones are tasty! You could measure out servings of a healthy cereal like Kashi Go Lean Crunch and put them in little ziploc baggies to grab on your way out of the house. Snack on it dry while you're driving to work. How do you scramble an egg in the microwave? I've never heard of that one.
its really easy, just crack an egg (or 2 if you're hungry) in a bowl and mix it up with a fork. then put it in the microwave for about 30 seconds, stir it abit, then put it in for a little longer. they cook really quickly, so keep an eye on it. the time depends on the power of your microwave and how firm you like the egg...
