morning exercise vs night.. does it matter?

Hi, I was wondering if morning exercise vs night exercise mattered if you're trying to lose weight. Which would be better(in means of losing weight faster) if it did matter... morning or night exercise?

The best time to exercise is when you CAN.

Some people are morning people some get their ooomph in the evening. Tailor your program to the time that allows you to get to the gym regularly and do a good workout.

A forced, miserable workout plan soon becomes NO workout plan.

Personally, I like to exercise when I first wake up in the morning...that way, it's already done for the day and I don't have to worry about it. I agree with a previous poster though; work out when you can.

I dont think it really matters. I dont really do any exercises other than use two 10lb weights for my arms either in the morning or evening. I keep them out for easy access. If I put them away I may not want to get them. I do my arms 2 sets of 10 for 4 different exercises. Then I am done. All my cardio is done running around at the school. As long as you cnat get soem kind of exercise in, it really doesnt matter what time it is done. I have done my weights at 12am before.

I do it whenever I can muster the motivation ( I sure am lacking it these days) but I heard on one of the talk shows in the am, that it is better to exarcize in the late afr. or alter. I personallu do it when I can get my big fanny on my treadmill.

Lenin, is right,
exercise when you can, just as long as you get a good workout in, I exercise in the mornings before work...because I just don't have time after work with other things, so I just get my workout over with.
for some they maybe to busy in the mornings like getting ready for work rounding up the kids breakfast, lunches or ready daycare, plus a 100 other things to do, but after your day is over and everyone all fed, laundry, baths taken and you have a little time for yourself, try to exercise , if your trying to lose weight and tone your body, exercising will help you feel a lot better /sleep better ect,,ect,, even if your a very busy person.
So it don't really matter when you exercise, morn or evenings, just exercise.
there never seems like theres enough time in the day to do our daily chores let alone exercise, but if you try to incorporate exercise even if its just a 15/30 minute workout, thats a good start.

I agree! Do it when you feel best, and when you CAN! Otherwise you will not stick to it. I Personally prefer morning, just because I feel so "up" afterwards and it sets a great tone for my day and rejuventates me.
