Low blood sugar?

I am on a low carbohydrate diet where I don't eat much bread or potatoes on a daily basis and never eat pasta, rarely eat pizza etc. For breakfast it's usually egg whites w/ low fat cheese, for lunch its a turkey wrap w/ baked lays and dinner is a veggie burger w/ some hummus. For snacks I usually have fruit or low fat frozen yogurt. I realize that there are carbs in some of the foods I eat, but a lot of times I just don't feel satisfied. I get dizzy and lightheaded and shaky a lot especially after working out. Sometimes it takes an hour or so for my body to register the food after I eat and often I feel sick right after a meal. I workout frequently for about 1 hr and 45 minutes 5 days a week. Am I doing something wrong? How can I improve my diet/exercise regimen to feel better?

I'm not sure as to why you have low blood sugar? maybe your not getting enough of the right carbs?or not enough complex carbs?

I never really understood why low carb dieters always say they eat ''egg whites''...the whole egg is pure proteine aint it? hey the yellow is the best part.
some people its aginst there religion to eat the yellow!
like some won't eat pork like beacon ect,,ect,,

I think you maybe over doing it a little on the exercise, try just an 45 min to hour a day/or 30 minutes in the morn then 30 minutes in the evenings and see if that helps you not get so dizzy at times.

if you lower your carbs and your not use to it, that will make you get dizzy at times, because your body has to metabolize the proteine your getting more so that if it were more carbs or maybe your eating to many carbs? your keytones are getting high.
being on a low carb diet? and you eat ''yougart'' ''baked lays'' ''bread''? ''patato'' on occassion? no white stuff..> is usally low carb dieting....veggies is ok but only certain veggies I think while your low carbing it.

I think on some low carb diets like ''Atkins'' you subtract the sugar alchol, for the amount of carbs thats in the incredients that you can have...but I'm not so sure on that?



If your low blood sugar continues...see your Dr, tell him/her what/ how your dieting.

Have you tried South Beach?
better yet count calories...be a calorie counter and feel good about yourself.

all that stuff you eat read the calories on all of it then total it all up for one day...
