i have taken these before and though i don't think they have contributed to loosing weight directly i do believe they help curb my appetite and give me some energy i would not ordinarily have. the only ones i have used are mega t greet tea from walmart. theyre cheap, like 4 bucks a box. they dont give you a really intense feeling, its subtle but i liked the way they made me felt. hope this helps.
