I am 5' 9", 27 year old male that weighs 163. I am having trouble loosing the last 10 pounds. I try to limit my calories, and have changed my diet. I am now walking 4 miles a day at 4 mph. Am I better off running? My treadmill shows that I use 654 calories(over 220 fat) walking this distance every day. Is this correct? I also lift weights for 30 min a day, along with 50 situps. I feel like I have decent muscle on my, but the fat just covers it all up. What else can I do? How many calories should I consume a day to loose weight? I realize that this is not a fast process, but I just bounce between 159-165 LB all week, and have been at it for a while. Is there any good suplements that work and are safe? Also how bad is drinking on a diet? I consume about 20-24 light beers a month(weekends only). Is this part of my problem? I do not realy think my weight is a issue, but my body fat is. Thanks for any advice!
