I have joined a gym recently and lost 5lbs so far. I'm going 2-3 times a week. A friend of mine who has joined recently will start going with me.

She has lost 120 lbs in a yr. She's a size 18 and i'm between a 14/16 right now. I've been using my billy blanks taebo stick and the 8 positions the book shows me and i'm up to 30 sit ups now. I am working on going to work out to dvds i have at home when i don't have a chance to go to the gym.
i've always been heavy as a child.i started off as getting heavier in 4th grade. By 6th grade i was 160 lbs and by the time i was a senior in h.s i was 215 lbs. I lost weight in 02 and became 175 lbs. then i started gaining weight b/c i was taking zyprexa for aniexty and anti depressant due to my bi polar.
I was 255 to begin with in 04, i had just given birth to my son and i was 226 before my pregnancy, i gained 21 lbs. I was going up and down in weight over the past years and i started to lose weight actively in 06 but then i stopped. It was when i was starting to see i was not happy in a size 20, that i started actively losing weight in Sept of 07. In march of 08 i weighed 180 lbs. I gained 15 lbs in 4 mths and then a month ago i started to take charge again and lost 5lbs , i'm 190 lbs right now. i am working on a STG of 175 lbs for now. my LTG is 130-145 lbs.
I would like to keep in touch every now and then and let everyone know when i've reached my 175 goal. if you'd like to share your weight loss story with me that would be cool.
