I calculated my BMR and got a number of 1622.7, multiplied it by 1.55 and got 2515..supposedly that's how many calories I need to eat. However I do work out, moderately about 3-5 x a week for about 30-40 min. How much calories should I be eating? To lose weight I should stick to between 1200-1600 calories I have read in many reputable sources.. I am confused.
Also, I started at the gym about a month ago and my weight has not changed, which I understand means I am probably gaining muscle instead and will lose the fat as time goes on, this is true yes?
