Is there a reason

When I weigh myself, it clearly says that I'm overweight (not by a lot, but technically so). The issue is, I apparently don't look like it. I look like I weigh maybe around 165 lbs. I'm 5'8" so maybe that's why. But I weigh about 20 lbs more than that. However I can still wear like normal clothing without it being too tight and stuff. I'm working on losing weight, and it's somewhat working (slowly) but still...I find this odd. Is there a reason for this?
