Don't know how to start!

I'm going to try and lose 20 pounds before July! Is this doable? Where do I begin? I don't know what I should and should not eat, and how much exercise I should do everyday. Is walking a mile in the morning, and another mile in the evening good enouph? Or should I do different things?

Maybe you should consult a doctor first. A lot of what you can do actually depends on your age and health condition.

However, I would agree that light exercise (such as walking) is essential. Also, do exercises for your calves, raising on tiptoe many times before taking your daily shower. Another tip is to correct constipation, if you suffer from it.

Have three meals a day, and strictly avoid eating or snacking between meals, except some raw fruit in the afternoon.

If you want to weight 50kg, don't eat more than about 500g of food per day. If your ideal weight is 60kg, you should try to eat about 600g of food per day. You get the rule, don't you?

Two examples for 600g of food:

Breakfast: 150g// Breakfast: 100g
Lunch: 250g// Lunch: 250g
Dinner: 200g// Dinner: 250g

Lunch and dinner should consist of three equal portions of: carbs, animal protein and raw veggies. Don't exclude any category of food, but see to it that you have balanced meals in terms of carbs, proteins and raw stuff. Breakfast could be half a glass of veggie juice (use a juicer to have it fresh), a carb and a protein. You may add a small cup of your favourite warm beverage (tea or coffee).

Proteins include eggs, fish, chicken and beef (all kinds of meat in general). Dairy should be avoided.
